| Post subject: | Demolition Bomb Questions |
I have two important Questions regarding the demolition bomb for Isengard. 1) Is it considered a siege Engine and therefore causes Instant Death 2) The weapon says that it ignites at the beginning of the Fight (I assume this to mean Fight Phase since the bomb and the model igniting it are both not in a fight). However my opponent tried to use the Barge option and a Heroic Fight to run away from it. I told him that he cant do that since my bomb goes off at the beginning of the fight and therefore before any fights are resolved. Can anyone please tell me which is correct? |

UPDATE: 1) The Demolition Bomb has been ruled to not be a siege weapon since it's section is separate from siege engine rules. Therefore it does not cause instant death. 2)The Heroic Combat literally does not say anything about happening at the beginning of the the fight phase. It just says that the Fight the hero is involved in happens first. Therefore it cannot be used before the bomb because the bomb happens at the beginning of the phase which happens before fights start. Does anyone disagree with this? The rules for Heroic Combats are on page 59 |

uh oh well I'm not going to post my answers from TLA although I think some people should go over there and read the thread in order to get an opinion here as well. |
