I'm a latecomer to LOTR SBG/WOTR; my two sons started to get into 40K in early 2007 so I thought I'd join them and started to collect the LOTR figures. The problem is that my local games club (RGMB in Chester) doesn't have many LOTR SBG or WOTR players. I prefer WOTR myself. So if there are any WOTR players that live within reasonable striking distance of the Chester area and would fancy a game please drop me line. I'm not a fanatic in terms of putting out hard to beat sides; I tend to prefer putting out an army which consists of figures I like and I'm looking for an enjoyable game with like minded players. I've only managed about 10 or so games of WOTR in two years - with only a couple of victories - and note that more than half of the forces I've come up against contain Khamûl the Easterling (I wonder why?). Having said that, I do think the rules play quite well. Hopefully there is someone - or two - out there... |

I live about 3 hours away from Chester, bit too far I think. I too no longer have any regular oponents, the only way I canget a game of WOTR is to go to my local GW or play SBG with my sister occasionally. |
