Fantastic job! Great colors, nice freehand.

I must say, that when I am looking at your model, I am so jealous, because this is the only missing metal Dwarf King in my collection

Oh man  I ordered those Dwarf Kings when I realized GW started to discontinue all those minis some years ago. Unfortunately i only have that one, otherwise i'd trade one for you...

I will enter something as a filler, probably Thrain or Dwalin or old Dain. Just got to decide which and make the time to get some painting done.

Thanks man. But I can't take credit for the conversion. That was Dave Fredericks of Shadow and Flame's work. I just slung the paint!

Haha he took a while to arrive and then finally got him prepared earlier today and I've been looking at him wondering whether I try and rush him through or not :P

Tabletop quality it is then! ;)

He's coming along quite nicely. Mostly just detailing and touch ups to go except for a massive gap where the cloak joins which has been covered in liquid greenstuff. Leave that to cure overnight (along with astrogranite) and repaint the cloak in the morning before the deadline. Good thing I've got the day off!

Here is my entry, Young Dwalin. First model I've completed in a few years and it's thanks to the motivation of the hobby challenge and all the great entries. Well done guys!

Looks like I've chosen quite the competition to finally enter in again - by the Valar, this is one fine series of entries (and that's been said before in the past months).

Anyway, here's mine. Not a great sculpt to be honest, but the book provided a nice challenge to try something new (right page is supposed to mimic one depicting the Balrog in Saruman's tome. Tricky to paint, even more difficult to photograph as it turned out!).
