I enjoy playing moria because I do like to swarm in with tons of models but is there any way to boost their awful fight value? Anything I can do to be more reliable at winning fights? My standard list is generally 2 trolls gundabad lines with Spear support and shamans and groblog/ Durburz at 500 points. I've been winning games based on objectives but I'm looking for a way to boost fight and to my knowledge there really isn't a way unless I run bats and bring my opponent down to f1

Moria troops are so cheap because of their fight value, there's nothing one can do to improved.
Use a Gundabad drum to gain the banner bonus, so you will roll even more dice when fighting. It does not improve fight value, but one more dice can be extremely useful.
Heavy infantry (gundabad) are good because of their D6, so they will survive more hits, and last more turns.

If you can use different warbands a shade would be equalizing the equal dice roll loss.

Ewwwwwwwwwwww

You can do that but the only thing you can really do to improve their overall army fight is to include cave trolls, monsters, and your heroes time to time. No way to improve basic goblin fight.

Keeping numerical superiority is more what goblins is about, they'll die, don't doubt it; however as long as you have more dice than your opponent it's limited how many 6's he'll roll. You'll be winning more than loosing, and the more you win the more you swarm and keep stacking the odds in your favor.

The great thing about goblins is that you can be losing most of a game, but then one round can turn it around for you. I was playing against a dwarf army at 1500 points and I didn't kill much for at least 3 turns. In those 3 turns, he killed off at least 15-20 goblins, a lot were saved with Groblog + Fury, but it only took one turn where I killed 10 dwarves right in a row for the tables to turn. A bunch of might, a cave troll and the drum were all it took. I've heard shades are really good, and I believe it, but I've never used one.

Feinting can help deal damage. It wont help win the fight, but it will help weed out those pesky 1s on damage.
