White dwarf issue #46 (+new hobbit rulebook) release date?

Could not find when this comes out. Also, will it cost more? I 've never bought WD so :roll:

Out this Saturday.

Ought to cost the same as it always costs in your currency.

It'll be the first WD I've bought in years, and probably the last.

IDK but if youre talking about the one with the rules I believe its December 13th.

And yeah creaky^ this will be the only one ive ever bought. Im tempted to find a young kid in the store, take out the LOTR book and give him the copy of it.

No you absolutely misunderstood! I meant I'd give the free copy to a young guy who only likes war hammer so he can have a nice magazine to read. Hahaha

Well no, it is rumoured (and I think confirmed)that there will be a pdf download and an online only order version.

A 32-page booklet will be supplied with the next White Dwarf Weekly (available this weekend, costs £2.40). A 32-page booklet costing £5 will be available for pre-order from then on as well, although its contents are to be downloadable for free from the GW website.

Whether those two items are the same has, as far as I'm aware, not been confirmed. The page count is the same, but the costs aren't. They could be identical, aside from the fact that the latter will be available for a longer time (while WD is just for that week). There is also a chance that the WD booklet just has profiles in it, while the other one contains scenarios for example. We'll know in just over a day (pre-orders go up at 7pm GMT or so).

And that is exactly what I did, they sold out, I had the last copy so I kept the supplement and gave the WD to someone who wanted a WD.

I only want to know if there are profiles for anything not yet released as models, just any hint that GW will be making all the (other) stuff seen in the film. So maybe GW is doing the White Dwarf rules release pack as a test to see if it sell more issues. Perhaps they will return to those few years when White Dwarf was the only way to get the new profiles. I could live with that if it played out that way.

from what Ive read, only profiles for the released models, ass whell an update for the white council ( without new models )

This could mean, no new releases for now, and CAN't mean there wouldnt be any new releases, since leaving out the necromancer or updated rules for him, aswell as for dain & co would be a huge misser..

Supplement is available for free to download NOW from Black Library. If you buy the eBook version of WD you don't get the supplement, it only comes with the physical copy.
