That would be very nice. Needless to say I believe there are many they would release if there is enough take up on the first releases, sort of staged release.
But whatever happens, a fully battle armoured Thorin would make a stand out piece.

My money is on seeing only his actual armour from the battle itself. It seems (from the trailers) that this regal armour is representative of his falling under the madness, and he casts it away for the battle as he comes to his senses.

I'd love to see it (who wouldn't?), but would be prepared to convert it if we don't.

You could convert him from Thror with a headswap of Thorin, but you have to resculpt some parts of the armour since Thror's beard is covering it. Also, the crown will be tricky.

Awesome magazine cover, Thorin would need a big defence value for that outfit!

the thing is, thorin gonna be way mroe expensive and way less usefull.

1st hes gona lose oakenshield, he already lost orcrist, so I suppose hes just like a thror model basically(yes that´s thror armour or his replacement armour he had back in the days of old, diferent is that thror had that fur cloak which would hide most of his armour) for around 130/140pts with the arkenstone.
He do might have the king under the mountain rule giving him standfast bigger rule or a sideback rule that shows his greed for gold, but who knows...

only thing I know is that hes very likely to be less than half what he used to be (game wise) compared to the current thorin...

He gets Orcrist back.

Wouldn't worry about it. Hopefully he'll have the required options, and we can customise him to where we want anyway.

I don't care about his profile. I just want the figure. Profiles I can make, figures I can't. Though with GW's ridiculous current pricing structure I'd have to get a bank loan to buy it.
