Will the next Desolation of Stockport in September have the same format more or less? i.e. One army, 500pts.

I think the next Stockport event will likely go the other way (350 or 400 points) in order to fit in more games and continue to encourage new players, but depends on the schedule and what other tournaments decide to do.

Mansfield for May is 1000
ToS for June 600
Then there is doubles in Huddersfield

But after that, another at Titans, then us, Preston and Stirlingshire.

Any word of what Titans, Preston and Stirling plan to be?

Dang, I was hoping to squeeze in 3 Eagles, Legolas, Tauriel and 2 Warbands of Mirkwood Rangers.

500 pts is good. Def not more. I could deal with 350 or 400, but for me 500pts is the sweet spot.

Dont forget East Grinstead! tut tut :P We are still in the planning phase but an idea put forward is to go bigger but with stipulations of what you can take. For example, 800pts but 300 of those must be spent on heros over 150pts each.

Personally, I'm kinda bored of 500pts, every tournament I have attended (bar titans) was 500pts and I wanna get the big toys out. Would love to see some 700+ tournaments later on in the year.

I agree with Southern Dunedian here,

While I do like playing at 500pts (its probably my favourite pts level to be honest) I think having more variation across the tournaments can only be a good thing.

More pts or fewer I doubt I will mind too much. I think the last Stockport event did really well to fit in 7 games of 500. Even with lower pts it may be hard to fit in much more than that but am sure the Thermo has a plan :)

Stirling will almost certainly be 800 points. I really liked it last year since it was different from any other event so forced people to change things up a bit.

Variety is good even though I tend to enjoy bigger games I've also really enjoyed dropping down to 500 for Mansfield and Stockport this year.
