Anyone able to help me if this beast it's clearly not lotr but hopefully someone know what it is and possible it's worth I aw quoted it from my 140 mega lot and this has been chucked into miscelanneaous so any help appreciated

What does the slotta base say?!

Looks like a troll of some kind to me, but likely not vintage GW (although it has the feel). GW trolls from the late 80's and 90's had "stud" base attachments- a lug on one foot which corresponds to a hole on the square base that you drill yourself.

It appears to have a metal slotta base?

The base says RMI, which is Reaper Miniatures.

RMI 02- any iddea what it is, worth and anyone interested, it is a couple of cm's bigger then a gw paint pot
