Honestly, there's not much from the LotR/Hobbit ranges that can compete for "Worst GW Miniature." I do think the models took a sharp decline in quality shortly after the LotR films and have not recovered since, and the Warhammer and 40k ranges have followed suite in the last few years. But for my part, the very worst GW model is Nagash from the older Warhammer Tomb Kings range, which hannanibal posted on page 1.

Based on goofy (or missed opportunity) sculpts, the ones I dislike the most are

Orc Shaman
Orc Trackers
Wood elf sentinels (though I like the idea)
Black Numenoreans on foot
Castellans of Dol Guldur
Old Thranduil
Dwarf Warriors (garden gnomes)
Shade
Woses & Ghan Buri Ghan
Pippin Guard of the Citadel (we got 3 or more merrys in rohan armour, come on!)
Any Frodo face post Captured by Gondor
Elladan and Elrohir, either version.

Easterling commander banner bear - metal, keeps falling over

I'm not a fan of the new Knights of Rivendell and the Mirkwood Palace Guards,
the body sculpts are fine but the capes I think are OTT.

And the Riders of Rohan, always disliked the snappy ankles but still, for an army predominately mounted there are only two choices for the horses. I know they were made back when the models had fewer poses but would be great if they were redone.

Have you forgotten the original Fellowship Frodo's face? That was pretty bad, compared to the rest of the Fellowship's faces.

There are 4 horse poses actually, you can find the other 2 by swapping horse halfs. 3 of the 4 poses are pretty stable too.
