Leicestershire Area

Hello!

I'm looking for any local SBG players who would be interested in playing some games next year. Unfortunately there aren't any clubs in my area that I know of. I'm located in Leicestershire and it would be great to meet other people in the local area.
Post here if you are nearby and fancy a game:)

Hi.

New to one-ring and just registered so could reply.. where in Leicestershire ? I have been wargaming for more years than care to admit (since the '70s).. mostly ancients.. after a hiatus returned as many do when had children of my own and they got into hobby (with a little guidance & encouragement).. played 40k, warhammer.. and SBG.. have a reasonable collection - mostly evil stuff (Moira Gobs.. Mordor Orcs and Uruk-Hai).. I confess new to the present incarnation of SBG and only played a few solo games.. play for fun & recreation to unwind.. hope there are others out there too in our area.. like yourself most clubs don't seem to cater for SBG (as well as DBA & HOTT which play occassionally).. anyway look forward to hearing from you..

It's great to hear from someone in the local area! I'm impressed to hear you've been wargaming for that long. If you've been gaming since the 70s then there's a rather large age gap to say the least, haha. It would still be very interesting to meet a fellow SBG player!

Ok .. did you have any ideas as to venue etc? I notice there haven't been other replies and I can't believe that we are the only 2 in the whole of Leicestershire...

I'm new to SBG and I live in Nottinghamshire, so not too far from you I guess. I'm in the same boat as you, I don't know any players in my local area!

I'm new to this and live in Nottingham. I currently dont know anyone else who plays so would happily meet up for a game somtime.

Where abouts in Leicestershire and Nottingham are you guys based? I'm not too far away and would be willing to travel for some games. There is literally no one I know of near me who plays SBG.

warhammer world is on my 'to do' list over the holidays so anyone from near there let me know and we'll sort something out! Getting serious SBG withdrawals haha

I live in Loughborough. It's not massively far from Leicester or Nottingham, short car/bus trip really.
