Resistant to magic makes more sense, in that light.

On Hadhod, obviously it's a matter of taste but basically at present he has 4 big melee boosts (as I see it):
+1 to wound
+1 Strength (based on convention)
Re-roll 1's to wound
Burly

Very often, that means he'll be wounding on a 3+, and coupled with re-rolling 1's he's only not wounding on a roll of 2 (not quite the same as wounding on a 2+, but the odds are pretty similar), with no penalty to his combat dice. Obviously it's not unbalanced, that depends on his point value, so it's just a matter of preference. Personally, just based on my own preferences, I think I'd give him any two of those bonuses, but all 4 just seems like a lot of melee power stacked onto one figure.

Nice, looks like a solid, straightforward melee powerhouse.

Not having played the game, and just throwing ideas out there that are based on my perception of the men of Carn Dum, I would think that maybe an ordinary guy doesn't need to be significantly different form Dunlendings (maybe base profile is unarmored, but they have the option to buy armor and a shield).

Captain and shaman could follow basic standards for those units, although maybe a new spell for the shaman, rather than the same-old, same-old?

For berserkers, what about something like this?

Carn Dum Berserker - X points
M - 6
F - 4
S - 4
D - 4
A - 2
W - 1
C - 7
Equipment: Hand Weapon or Two-Handed Weapon
Frenzy: When wounded by an attack that is Strength 4 or less, the Berserker ignores the wound on a roll of 5+. Berserkers may be wounded by spells, but are otherwise immune to the effects of spells from both friendly and opposing spellcasters.
