I'll have a chat about this with Chris, and I'm happy that people are positively inclined to this modification. I think there will be a more interesting dynamic for armies that are evenly matched in model count too, especially if each player is only getting a few models off and the difference between more models, 2 x more and 3 x more is much less. I do like reconnoitre as a concept as it makes armies skirmish and avoids the mid-table dice-off, so a little tweak should make it really good fun and provide some nail-biting battles.

In other news, we are planning a couple of new boards with funky terrain for people to play over. The plan is that they look really cool and are a blast to play on.......... well, that's the plan anyway.

@Suicidalmarsbar and Dr Grant: Loving the trash talk, maybe I'll engineer you two meeting in round one. Mwaaa ha ha ha haaaaa, the power.
