I voted for Egde67 as I think it look awesome. Well done :yay:

Commiserations to the others of course 8)

@Constantoine, he definately used the Mahud King as the basi for the conversion.

Had to go for Edge I'm afraid. He's made great use of the Screaming Bell/ Plague Catapult (?) Kit, and also he's quite gutsy to have sacrfiiced so many models. :o
Telchar: Love the weathering on the cloaks.
Legolas: Nice idea, don't see too many heavy conversions like that.

The problem is I started him and so then I'd have to start over. O.o Holidays are too busy! Can a Hobbit just get a minute for himself.

Thanks for the positive feedback, yes as was said it was a Mahud king with his shield taken away and some work on his arm, and then I produced the head from green stuff, I think the weapon has been changed too :)

Edge's awesome bell gets the prize for me.

What happened to Red Corsairs?

Good efforts guys but I have to say 'Ding Dong!'

(Appropriate for a winter challenge - 'Ding-dong merrily on high' etcetera)

Had to go for Edge, not only is the painting top class, so too is the converting and the bravery for attempting the conversions with the cost of mini's going up so much...

It was a tough choice. I really like Telchar's colour scheme and idea of a winter ranger force. However, Legolas's conversion is an awesome idea and very well executed so my vote had to go there.

Thanks for the votes and kind comments on my entry. It is very humbling - usually I'm never even close to winning one of these things.

While the bell was great I felt your rangers needed some love, the snow on the base and the overall color scheme just made me fall in love with the thought of a winter ambush by these guys
