I just thought that, with the paintstation thread proving so popular (and so very interesting), it would be nice to see pics of you fine people. It might shock some, but it's worth the risk. I would like to have an idea of how some of you really look. It might dispel some mental images too. You know, every time I read a post by Gstormcrow I actually see him in my mind as his avatar, despite what (however little that may be) I know about him.

Right then, I'll kick this off with a pic of yours truly. This was taken a few years ago, but it's the only digital image I have handy here at work (surprised I even had one).

I think we had a similar thread a few months ago, but I couldn't find it anymore... maybe it was causing so much insanity it had to be deleted. :)

Tobold, your picture was a real surprise for me... from the hobbittish name I have always thought you are about three feet tall, plump and always smoking pipe. :P

OK, here's me, although in a costume (no, I don't wear that make-up every day) but aside from the eyes I look pretty much like that:

I was looking for the Rutta thread too, but can't find it.

Anyway, this is me and the missus before a Christmas party last year.

Allright, my turn now... Although I know these pics will be used against me some day...

Here are some pics of my latest vacation in Germany (lol, just to go on with it, Isc from Belgium in Germany...)

This one was taken when I was resting a bit after a very long and hard walk (I'm sure it was about 100m)...
Image

Here I'm studying very hard...
Image

Surrounded by ice-cream! :P Me of course ordered a big ice-cream for 2 persons to eat all by myself... Again I showed what a big mouth I had... but I finally got the job done... without seeing the ice-cream for a second time...

Well, this is me.

:o OK, I'll post a picture too. I've been told many times that I look like a 10 year old in this picture, but I'll show it anyway(I'm on computer  ):

Image

I'll try to get a better pic soon, that's the best I have at the moment.

Well I figure I might as well post my ugly mug - those of nervous disposition look away now.
Taken at a party a couple of months ago.

I hate photos usually, and have as few as I can avoid having.

I was thinking about it, and that first image I posted is really old - it predates my son - and he's 5 already!

So, I thought I'd post the latest one I have. Some might still find me "odd looking" (Nygyll!!), but there you have it, at least this one is accurate. :)

About time I showed you my old ugly mug then. :?

This picture features me standing next to Alessio, I am the old grey haired codger in the black shirt, You can just about make out my username on my badge. The other people in the picture are....

Edde, Death and Glory from TLA, Yith, Alessio Cavatore, yours truly, and on the front row, Alan and Michael Perry. Cool eh. :D

TonyB2 - I remember you from 300th issue of White Dwarf. I have to admit that the battle report "Charge of the mumakil" is one of the best that I've ever read. I can only imagine how great it felt to take part in a game in which 3 mumaks appear
Ok, so here's a picture of me, taken during Polish Games Day this April (of course, I'm the guy on the right :wink:) ;
Image
I also had a chance to meet Alessio Cavatore who was a special guest there in person. It was nice to talk about the game with its creator :)

First of all, let me just say that I'll never look at you guys the same way, specially Tobold and Azog!!!

Dudes, you are so different of what I was expecting!!! I allways thout of Mark beeing a fat dude with sandals...
And Bilbo?! Well, if he was a little bit shorter he could be the star of The Hobbit movie!!! You are a hobbit allright...

And Peregrin Took its just a 14 years old kid! WOW!!! I would never gess that judging by his awesome skills at painting minis!

In the last few minutes i've seen a lot of ugly faces (come on, no chicks?!!!) and I probably will have some problems to sleep this night!!!

Here's my ugly mug:

When I lookthrough this thread I see that one pic often says not enough... Usually I am the one who takes pics, but under heaps of such I found some that somewhat represent me ... and merged them...
from left to right: me in realworld terrain - studying water effects for bases - relaxed at dinner - checking out the wall for a climbing route (and studying trees for terrains again ;-)

Well, here's me. I'm continuing with the painting style pics. :)

Image

I'm painting FOTR Legolas at the moment. It is good to get back to painting after so much study work lately. No doubt I have a lot more ahead of me. :)

Okey pokey, gents, i guess i'll (re)start us off!

Image

This is my whole family (minus my mom, who is taking the picture) on a balmy summer day on vacation in Vancuver this past summer. As you can guess by the look of us, my brothers and i are appropriatly nicknamed Larry, Curly and Moe. The 60 year old man (yes that's right, 60, black hair and all) next to me is my Dad, as you've also probably guessed.

And I am the incredibly handsome (big time lol) young man with the Yankees hat on. Whoops! Just realized that you can't really see the hats! Alrighty then, i'm the guy at the end of the bench.

This pic isn't very clear now that i look at it closly...i'll get another one up soon.
