It would be useful for the One Ring site team to have an idea of what desktop and mobile platforms you use to access the One Ring site.

Please could members could indicate what browser they use on a regular basis to access the site, Desktop and (mobile if applicable).
You can choose up to two options and amend your post if you make a mistake.

Multiple Internet Explorer and Firefox options are listed. please indicate your main release number.

If you don't use one of the browsers listed in the poll then a post indicating what you do use would be useful. You can select Other then post a response.

Hopefully this information will be useful for Dagorlad in his site programming and perhaps prove of general interest to members.

Two choices is not enough! :) I chose Chrome and mobile Safari since I spend most of my online time with my work computer at work and iPad at home.

Explorer 8. So how does this info help Dagorlad in improving the site?

It's all about usability really. Hopefully the One Ring will appear the same across all browsers. But, it doesn’t always work out that way especially with all the custom code and themes that can be applied to a site like this. It’s best to test out a theme and features to see if it is looking good across numerous browsers. The fact that many people like to use mobile devices adds another complication. Knowing what people use should help in the testing process.

TOR didn't work for me on Pale Moon, and was basically one of the older Firefox versions, not sure the specific one.

Now I just use Firefox

Chrome. I still can't get used to the Safari layout. One thing I would mention is resolution - most people will have screen resolutions much larger than 1280x800 and, as a result, there is a larger amount of black space on either side of the forum.
