so difficult, I see two types of painting, the obvious well painted ones like Bilbo's, Edge67's, TheBuclandBrewer's and General Elessar’s then there's more expressive painting style's which I'm a huge fan of like Wah Wah's and Spuds4ever. Of course then there are those who's painting has improved or have tried something original imo at least, such as PowerofWill's, Ares B’s, theavenger001 and Beowulf03809. I still haven't voted though, I'm caught somewhere between Wah Wah's, Edge67's and General Elessar's atm.

I was genuinely expecting this challenge to be a lot closer with the amount of talent on display and I was surprised by the amount of votes I've gotten. For some reason I couldn't help feel a little disheartened by how much I was ahead though, but either way I really appreciate the votes and was really moved by what some of you have said about the Huron, especially Beowulf03809. its such a moral boost for an isolated painter/gamer hearing from other enthusiasts. cheers guys.

Although there is still a while left for voting, I think it is pretty clear to all who will win. Congratulations BizzareWarstar :yay:

Well, I have decided to go for TheBucklandBrewer's Gulahvar. :yay:
You did a great job on the paintscheme. And, it was a very original scheme; I've only seen red and a black gulahvar's, no purple ones. The base was also very well done. Overall superb job. And congrats to everyone for putting together so many good entries again. :)

My vote went to Edge67's drake. It was a tough choice, but in the end it was the inspiration it gave to me that tipped the scales. Looks like the huorn feeding the troll his shield is winning though, and absolutely deservedly so, so early congrats to Mr Bizarre!

And thanks to the kind if misguided people who voted my dragon! Image

Yes, congrats to bizzare, with a well deserved win. And congrats to everyone else. I hope the competition stretched your painting ability and pushed you to finish a figure. I know it did for me! :)

Great job everyone and I hope that this Glorfindel challenge turns out to be just as great as this month was!

Congratulations BizzareWarstar on a well deserved win. Also well done to everybody else who participated in another 'very difficult to vote for' painting challenge.
