   D&D Moria and Angmar

I won't be able to do much until the week end. Even though I am shut in for a while I won't be able to borrow a better camera til every one else is off from work. Do you have some idea what kind of photos you would like to illustrate the project.

In that case, I'll try to remember to do it ;)

Also, should we take a picture of each troop type individually, including captains and upgrades etc? That way, you have more photos to play with and insert elsewhere.

Ssh no one was supposed to notice  Yep he is a proxy because he looks kind of feral and fits well. I'm going to get some Clansmen of Lamedon to use as guys with two-handed weapons after I saw Braveheart :)

I am going to have to borrow a camera with manual settings to get the depth of field right.Give me some more ideas about what you would like for set up and lay out.

I did Angmar as an experiment to see how the minis would look on a hillside. It was already a bit dark, I need to try the next shots earlier in the evening.

I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far, guys! The models and terrain are fantastic!

The photos that are down on the model's eye view (almost like you are checking line of sight) are my favorites, because it kind of draws you into their world. Of course, focus is difficult because of the number of miniatures, but is crucial, as is the lighting. I am waiting to take my own pictures because I want to borrow my father's digital SLR camera. The little pocket camera we have is okay for snapshots and WIP forum shots, but I want to kick it up a notch for this project!

I don't see Isengard, so I can take the reins on that one. Have the models already primed up and ready to be painted. I will get them done as soon as I can, but in a good change of fate, I'm suddenly finding myself working quite a few hours so I can't give you a definite time frame.

They are maybe a little bit too classic... :-D I've been meaning to rebase those old models for ages but rebasing is such boring work that I never get around to actually doing it.

Erunion said earlier that anyone can do anything so don't let my bunch of photos prevent you from doing some more if you have the models! I guess it will be good to have lot's of material to choose from and also not having all of them in a similar setup could be good.
