Hello all.
I was a member of the old site and have been a member here for a while, just an inactive one. As I have been posting my stuff on here for feedback it seemed fitting I should introduce myself. I have been into painting LOTR stuff since Feb 2003 and have been on/off painting for the past 8 years. I am a slow worker and my collection isnt great but I enjoy what I do. I have recently returned to the hobby after a bit of a troublesome year and it is a great way to unwind and relax. I am from Solihull, England and for those who don't know it, it is a leafy part of England, about 8 miles from where Tolkien spent his childhood. I am a painter and not a gamer and have no interest in the gaming side but love the hobby nonetheless. I love swords, medieval history (well history in general) loads of different types of music (from metal to classical), have a wonderful Hobbit sized girlfriend (I am 6foot 3 and a bit, she is 4 foot 11) who is very patient in my Tolkien and hobby whims! I am also on The Last Alliance so hello to other fellow TLAers on here. I hope I can be a help and in turn be helped. I am loving some of the work I am seeing here particularly Buckland Brewers stuff.
All that is to be said is I am glad I become an active member, Hello and may all your beards never whither!
