Hi, made myself a rohan hero...

and wondered about the rules/ profile I could give him. I want to make him have some good special rules or just a good profile in general, however I dont want him to outshine Eomer (whom i've given the house rule of 3 attacks), just wondered if anybody has any good ideas for what I could use?
SBG btw

thanks :legolas:

Well, actually the model you have there is Eomer and that particular version does in fact have three attacks. He has a special rule which states that if theoden or Eowyn are slain his defence is reduced from 7 to 4 and his strength is increased to 5. Sorry if you already knew.

If want a new Rohan Hero, how about Theodwyn? He was the father of Eomer and Eowyn.

cheers, I own the old version of Eomer already and just use his old profile( with +1 attack ) and the new special rules, thought I would just make this version into a new hero.

thanks anyway :legolas:

Thanks thats a pretty good idea as I was considering someone related to Eomer like a cousin or brother that wasnt revealed in book or film. However he probably wasnt around in the war of the ring. Do you have any profiles for Theodwyn?

Thanks :legolas:

There is no profile for Theodwyn but you could take a look at the ''your custom heroes...'' topic. I think its also in SBG gaming tactics & house rules and there is a link to a nice hero builder :)

Maybe the name "Merden the purple rider"Just kidding.
You can think many special rules about him or use ones that already exist.

So here i have thought of a custom profile if you like it
Merden the purple rider 105p.
F S D A W C M/W/F
5/4+ 4 6 2 2 5 2/4/2
Merden wears heavy armour and carries Brord. He can take a

Forhan for 15p.
Shield of Edoras for 10p.
bow for 5p.
Forhan:Forhan Merden's armoured horse can be mounted only by him.Forhan follows all the rules for horse espect his move is 12"/28cm.
F S D A W C
0 4 5 0 1 4

Special rules:
Brord:A legendery ancient sword of the ancient. This sword is a bane of men used long ago by dwarves(yeah really dwarves!).When fighting a man this hero deosnt need to roll more than 4+.
Bodyguard:See main rules(works for rohan heroes).
Expert rider:See main rules
My life for my kingdom:If your force is broken automtically This hero ignores every courage test(even for terror but not test from magic). This hero has always after moving to charge the nearest enemy. If two enemies or more are in the same lenth then the hero moves to the one most near friendly units. If there is no friendly units then the evil players choose.
The Purple rider:Thisherocauss terror to all warriors expect heroes monsters and cavalry if he is mounted.
The shield of Edoras:If Merden carries the shield of edoras he gains +2 d.Also he can call a heroic move without spend a might.

Yeah i know to strong i made him and some ruels ar elooking like...What?....ANyway just for fun.

Yeah, that is crazy powerful! Calling an Heroic Move for free at any time is a hugely powerful ability, especially with cavalry-heavy Rohan.

Yeah overpowered special rule.
A shield that makes D8 and let's him call a heroic move for free all for just 10 points.

thanks a lot ultragreek, sorry for the late reply, some of those rules are great, I like the terror for all except calvery, heroes and monsters, some of the rules like people stated may be a bit overpowered but with them tweaking they could be fine.

Thanks again :)
