If you're getting it for the profiles then it isn't very nescesarry as you can find most of the profiles (with point costs and wargear) on the GWS site.

just picked up the mordor sourcebook. i think i will get a troll for my army. i have always wanted to but have never really gotten around to it.

Troll is fun to use and it also cuts your numbers down a bit in massive games which isn't all bad as Mordor, in big games, has a tendency to take something around 4.3-8 years for their movephase.

my plan has changed slightly. i am know planning on getting Gorbag and Shagrat, the witch king, drummer and taskmaster, two blisters of mordor uruk-hai, a troll, and either the shadow lord or the dark marshal. which do you guys recommend? i really like the Dark Marshal model but i really think the shadow lord's special rule would be good because my army lacks a lot of archery. the combination of the drummer and the shadow lord would allow my army to move across the board quickly with minimum casualties.

Not to repeat but a drummer is definitely a must. They have caused me and my army's of good much harm as they are good for flanking. Just make sure you keep em protected from arrows

I'd either take normal Shagrat ( + shield) and a Taskmaster, or Shagrat Warleader and drop the TaskMaster. I think you'd get more value out of 9-10 more Orcs.

that would require me to buy another box of orcs which i can't afford at this point.

i think i like this list more because it includes 2 nazgul which i really enjoy using and are very powerful. they are also decent in close combat because the shadow lord is mounted and the witch king has the crown of morgul.

I would drop the Shadow lord and get a troll and something with might (maybe drop a couple of orcs and get Gorbag).

i really like the shadow lord and tried him out using a different model as a substitue and he worked really well. i could also try the dark marshal instead.

I'd try to squeeze in some cavalry of some sort.

Looks pretty strong but if I am right in thinking that is 750 points you could up your numbers by dropping The Witch King as you already have a Ringwraith, fill the gap with some Morannon Orcs if you have some. I think the large number if Orcs you could add will outdo the Witch King's usefullness, because you made him a Sorcerer (you already have Shadow lord) an a fighhter (you already have Shagrat), so you dont really need him that much.

hey everybody. my local games workshop didn't have a lot of the models i wanted so this is what i ended up getting. my army is now minas morgul allied with the black gate.
