ok im new to this game so this is the first list im making with the models i got or want x) please comment and advice is so welcome ;D ;D

7 warriors of minas tirith shield/sword 56
6 warriors of minas tirith spear/shield 64
8 warriors of minas tirith bow 64
4 knights of minas tirith 52
boromir of gondor with horse and elven 115
gondor captain with shield on foot 55

together 498

please comment and advice ;D

The only way to get use of the Elven Cloak on Boromir is if he gets dismounted or you take him on foot and Captain on horse.

ow i didnt knew that il just change it il remove the elven cloack for another minas warrior with spear and shield il change it in my list ;D

At that point level you'd probably be better off dropping the captain and taking just Boromir and more troops. Orc or goblins can easily hit 50 models at 400 points. Just keep Boromir hidden until he can start wading through the enemy warriors. Though you might better off with Faramir mounted.

He allied in Boromir from the Fellowship, he needs the Captain.

Yes IMO 500 points is rather difficult for Gondor.
Boromir (of Gondor) is really a good hero for his price, especially with a horse and his horn he can kill a lot of enemy models. Unfortunately he needs to be allied in so you need a captain or Faramir, which at 500 points is kind of hero heavy.
You could take Faramir mounted and maybe Cirion? Three might so he's better than a captain, and you can add in another knight.

Much more solid. I would drop one Citadel guard and give all the knights shields. Perhaps also swap the archers for rangers.

Nice one. If you drop one ranger you could give them all spears, but it might not be worth the loss of the bow.

i think so to if i replace them with spears i have no bows and i already have 8 warriors with spear so it would be a loss :no:

? Your rangers would still have bows, they would just also be able to provide spear support when everyone's in a fight and there's nothing to shoot at.
