I would swap the vault wardens (kinda pointless with only one team) and the captain for someone like Gimli or Balin w. DA (actually, Gimli is exact same points cost for captain and v.w team). And swap a dwarf with 2H (I'm pressuming) for a Khazad Guard which leaves you bang on 400

Gimli 90pts
Dwarf warrior w. banner 38pts.
8 Dwarf warriors w. shields 72pts.
7 Dwarf warriors w. 2H axe 56pts.
4 Khazad guard 44pts.
10 Dwarf rangers w. dwarf longbows 100pts.

Total:400pts. 31 models 3 might 10 bows

hobbitsrule22 is my friend and has only played about 4 games, he beat me once and the rest are only 250 point army games
but he is a good general, so dont lisen to him if u have played more than 5 matches :lol:

he hasnt had much experience so dont be harsh to him

Soz if I was a bit harsh, I didn't try to but apologies if I did. Anyway, it dosen't have to be Khazad-dum, that list is completely legal for Erebor.

hobbitsrule why bother to post here if you already like your list and are going to ignore criticism and ideas? This forum is for help with modifying/changing an army, so if you already like your list this is the wrong forum.

i told you ive got my armys (plural) in school league which also has an erebor army which i basically used all da ones i didnt use in kazad dum army. and my vault wardon team is effective with the row of shields

and karvag dont be sarcastic ive got a better percentage of wins than you having only lost 3 times out of 14 matchs

i nearly beat youre dwarf army with my hobbit one today which im sure you would find embarrising (i was winning till last round lol then gimli and his warriors finally powered through my numbers.
army i used:
frodo +mithril +sting and of coarse ring
22 shirifs
8 archers (i could ave had two more but didnt have enough models :sad:

) but that proves hobbits arent that bad. if my stone through had had a good roll i probably would have won. :rofl:

and that would be embarrising 4 u wouldent it lol

The PM system is perfect for these kinds of disputes about wins and losses...

However, I agree with spuds4ever about the vault warden team. unless you're playing with objectives, you can easily get away with using three more dwarves instead, and then you are getting 1 extra dwarf for 1 point less :-D

Camping is a cowardly but still legal tactic I suppose, looks like he did the right thing wearing you down with missiles though.

ye, i won but he killed 5-6 dwarfs before i got into combat, bare in mind that this was a 250 point match

and his 24 stones killed no one, he got like 9, 1's and 2's out of 13 dice when he was trying to wound

so those 5-6 dwarves were about 50 points, that's already a fifth of the entire list, depending on what you used.
