Two little Limited Edition Cadians for Ebay (Thanks John :) ). Took three hours to paint them. I must say, IG are the most boring minis to paint, especially Cadians, but at least they are simple.

Oooh, they look very nice!
Only three hours for two models, and such a neat job! Well done mate!

Are they really that boring? Cause... if there's one 40K-army that gets my interest, it just is the cadians... Maybe one day I'll start them (don't tell the missus yet!)

Well, they're not too bad. If I wanted to paint a good-looking 40k army really fast, I'd pick Cadians, but not for painting pleasure. Maybe the command squads and tanks are more fun, I don't know. I'd bet Vostroyans are good fun though.

Looking sharp Patrick, glad you got some use out of them, even if it is just to line your pockets

What's next? The BSB?

Not sure John, but funds are low... maybe a dwarf. Or the empire lad you sent me... we'll see in the morning :)

Not bad at all for 3 hours of work! I agree, they are boring to paint, but when put together in an army, they look marvelous!

Best of luck on their auction

Wonderful paintjob, especially if it only took you that small amount of time. I really like the way you painted the cloth.

Good luck on the auction. 8)

Very nice and clean work as always! You have an eye for the small things, and I think that for every miniature you paint you will just keep growing

Basecoat with Scorched Brown/Shining Gold 40/60 - Shining Gold - Badab Black Glaze in recesses - Shining Gold/Mithril Silver 70/30 - Mithril Silver on the most prominent areas.

I try to create a smooth gold all the time, and I think I did a reasonable job this time, but its hard to do with GW's gold. If you look in the pot, there seems to be much less metallic flakes than there is in other paints, eg Mithril Silver. I've ordered some VMC metal medium to increase its smoothness (If it works  ).
