Rammas Engineer (1 per siege engine)

An alternative for a siege engineer at the cost of 100 points

Wargear: Heavy armour, sword

special rule: Rammas Engineer

Any siege engine with a rammas engineer hits on a 3+ rather than its normal shoot value.


Minas Tirith Foot Squire

2/5+ 3 3 1 1 1

Points value: 3

wargear: hand axe or shortsword (hand weapon)

options:

shortbow........1pt
shield.............1pt


special rule: 'Till the death

As long as there is a Gondorian hero alive on the board, their courage value is 4. If all of the Gondorian heroes are killed or leave the game, their courage value is reduced to the standard value.




Captain of the Fountain Court

F/S S D A W C M/W/F
5/- 4 7 2 2 4 2/1/1

Points value: 55

wargear: spear, finely crafted heavy armour

options:

shield.....5pts

special rules: bodyguard

Your general has better defence than Faramir and one more attack for the same points. Courage should af course be the same as a captain 4+
There are no generals in Lord of the rings, take a king of men and give him heavy armour. You almost got the same figure.

Rammas engineer: a nice idea to upgrade siege engines.

Foot squire: There should be a profile for the civilians of Minas tirith.
But they should be better than Hobbits.
More a men without armour and 1 point les courage for 5 points.

Captain of the Fountaincourt: he should have one point more Fightvaleu then his men like all the captains. Making him 10 points more.

don't really like some of these. firstly you have in some ways made your general inferior to regular captains. also, you have only increased the captain of the fountain court's strength and given him might will and fate, which doesn't seem good enough for the elite of gondor...

@whatfrog - yes, its a typo. The general of minas tirith has a courage of 5.

The squire is not a typo, he has a courage value of 1.



The captain of the court has a fight value of 5.

I could not disagree more, sorry.

He has like you said +1 strength. But he also has +1 fight, +1 defence, +1 attack, +1 wound

The M/W/F is standard to all captains.

but you edited that... when i looked at it earlier he had f4. also he is the elite of gondor - he should not be like standard captains...

He is better than a standard captain, he has mithril armour, +1 fight and the bodyguard rule

I don't think he deserves 3 might, he is not even a named hero - then again, the same could be said for the general of Minas tirith profile

so, (you can guess where i am going) I created a new house rule for the HULK


Hulk

POINTS VALUE: 145 pts

special rules: the hulk

If at the beginning of the move phase, the hulk is in base contact with a sige engine, he may reload the engine for the crew. if this happens, the sige engine can fire twice in the shoot phase.

crippler:

the hulk can use his will point at the beginning of his move phase to increase one of the following by 1. At the end of the turn, his bonus fades away and returns to normal. He can do the same until his will points are all used up. He can only use 1 will per turn to do this.

+1 strength
+1 attack
+1 courage
+1 wound (this cannot take it beoynd 3)

I agree, thats why I gave him the crippler rule which improves his profile temporarily. His rule is based on khamul's essench leech btw, as most of you can guess.
