Bought this guy today and I have to say, it's an excellent model! After cleaning him up a bit and building him I started work on the painting. So far only done the face and hair and started work on the chestplate. I've also basecoated the cloak but that's got a long way to go yet (shades etc.). Here's how he's looking so far (the base is a Resin cast scenic Dockside base made by www.kerrandking.co.uk) Cheers! |

That figure looks pretty solid! Wouldn't want to cross him on a jetti! Nice start, the cloak is looking great and the armour too |

Thanks Jack, not made any progress with him yet as I've been pretty busy, but I'll get round to it soon I hope. |

Although I can admire Non LOTR ministures, have to admit I am not a big fan, however, I think you are doing a great job on him Jake, the armour looks fantastic, not sure about his 70's style shoulder pads I will watch the cloak with interest, as I see it is undercoated White...is its end colour White ? If so, I would have done this undercoat either Blue or Brown then highlighted up to White (White being a nightmare colour to paint). Overall, he is looking good mate...look forward to seeing him finished |

This is a Slaanesh prince?! Really?! Doesn't seem to have any GW Chaos feel to it... Nice work so far, keep it up! |

Lookin good Jake...question, how big is he? Would he be able to be used for conversion purposes...basically, if I wanted his head would it be too large for a LotR metal model like a Citadel Guard or Fountain Guard or some such? Thanks! |

Thanks for all the kind comments! @Brian - I was going to go for a white/pink ish cloak to show he's 'Slaaneshi' but after having trouble with painting it (I've always hated whites) I've decided to do the cloak in a red scheme. I have progressed with it however I've yet to take pictures but I'm sure I'll get round to doing that this weekend sometime. @Miguel - You're definitely right there, it's nothing like the usual Slaanesh stuff, but I do like the sculpt. @Dave - It's a pretty big model for a single miniature, this in mind I don't think the head would be very suitable for LOTR miniatures. It'd probably look quite strange and out of proportion. Though it's a good idea. |

He looks a bit camp. Is he a glam rocker? Why does Gary Glitter spring to mind? |

@Natarn. He is a prince of Slaneesh after all. Slaneesh being the haemafrodite god of pleasure. So he's allowed to be a little camp lol. Look forward to seeing him complete! |
