As this seems to be a diorama competition not a painting competition how would I go about doing a sculpting piece in it too? I plan to have a hobbit archer shooting a sculpted rabbit... should I sculpt the rabbit first and then take pics or should I just include the rabbits sculpture in the proof and WiP pics? |

Yay! This could not have been timed better and gives me plenty of time to work in. I will either be doing a Barrels out of Bond or, most likely, "Old Friends" (Gandalf and Bilbo at the front door of Bag End from FotR) diorama. Or perhaps something completely different but you can count me in! I will probably not get started until February so don't expect proof pics until then. Sone excellent ideas already and I can't wait to see what everyone else will be doing. |

Fantastic! Good that this is being organised. I got so many plans though..! Fëanor drawing his sword on his brother, Tom Bombadil saving the Hobbits, Sam finding a webbed Frodo.. Such a hard choice! Anyway, great! Looking forward to enter in this one. |

Interesting indeed, and while I don't have the time or resources to make something that's not much use in games for the time being, a diorama with seperate models or one of the various planned objective markers may well make for a good entry. One suggestion though: if this thread doesn't see much activity somewhere in the next few months, could somebody just post here to remind everybody of this challenge? Otherwise, I'm bound to forget it until people post some entries halfway through June, and it's probably too late to get something done by then! |

Great, so pleased this has finally started, well done Mally brilliant idea. I have several ideas swamping around my head, so will post at a later date my entry. I think it would a good idea to keep the thread "alive" of people post a lot of wip pictures. |

Hey warrior, I got a tip for making lake town. Thomarillion produces nice lake town buildings and docks. |
