Hee,

I was wondering if shelob is any good in a Moria army (Goblins, cave troll, wargs but no giant spiders)? I like here a lot more then the spider queen..

Any tips or experience?

She's good against isolated enemy heroes. If you can back her up with gobli warriors so that you can roll extra dice to win the fight. 1 attack for such a large monster is somewhat piddly, but with knock to the ground etc, Shes good when she wins the fight.

You posted this in WOTR. If you do in fact mean War of the Ring ignor everything previously stated lol. She is beast in WOTR. Starts with 4 attacks and gets +D6 on the charge! So up to 10 strikes before Cav or Infantry! Yeah she's worth it.

Remember to keep her hidden behind your troops - VHTK and enemy archers don't make a good combination. When you make contact, heroic move/at the double her into the enemy flank/rear.

Have fun, She really packs a punch in WOTR, especially if you can ambush an enemy unit from the rear where shields won't count, and their attacks are minimised. Make sure you save her for a suitably large and expensive unit. A heroic combat is a must in that situation, she should really bring the pain!
