We are organising a WotR and 40k day/weekend battle. If anyone is interested in coming to East Grinstead for a huge battle including Helms deep Osgiliath etc Let me know as we're planning the event for Feb half term and will be having the hall for two whole days. We would love new members, those building and those with big armies to come along for some huge battles. I have a good stock of figures that can be used, but if you have your own and there painted then even better! Post or PM me so that I can get an idea of who is interested and plan around this - also will help plan what armies are available for each scenario and work out small cost to cover hall hire. Can't wait! |

I know it's such a shame... There are so many passionate WotR players, yet we all live so far away from each other! Maybe the new releases will get others back into the hobby and create more players... Fingers crossed! |

Yeah it's a shame, I have never been to a tournament and would love to have a day playing against different opponents and different armies. |

Maybe the new releases will get others back into the hobby and create more players... Fingers crossed! They won't because they are aimed towards SBG now. There even is talk of moving WOTR to specialist games (ie. supressing all hope of support for the game). Funny how not half a year ago, the SBG players complained (rightly) about WOTR getting all the attention that didn't go to Warhammer and fordykay, and now it's the other way around . |
