I prefer the Galadhrim one, but, to be honest, there isn't much point in working out an army until we find out the restrictions. |

Meh, I don't think there is anything there that will be obviously restricted, maybe the archers, but archers generally fail to do anything in my experience. Just updated it with Mordor now. |

I think your Mordor list is more competitive over all. Your Lothlorien list would look really good, so if there is any painting judging in the event you may want to consider that list (unless you have some ideas on making your Mordor forces pretty cool too). My biggest concern on your Lothlorien list is the presence of the Knights. From our experience in a recent ToG, Galadrhim Knights in a Formation smaller than probably 4-5 Companies are almost a liability. Even with the Elves pretty well played, Morannon Orc and Dwarves each had no problem taking on and taking out 3-Company Formations after the first hit. Take the money and poinst and put into another box of Warriors (move the Captain to one of the Warriors). Also, if you go with Lothlorien then do some play testing. Celeborn is a great leader. If you elect to go with Galadriel though you have two options and each are good. Magic can make a huge difference in a game (Nazgul are a key reason Mordor lists are so effective) and if you have a plan for her spells and use them well then she can really help you out, but at only 800 points you come up short in combat leadership with her. Her other aspect, Protectress, is a very potent military Hero. Her natural Fight 10 means almost no one will want to call a Duel against you, you can call an Heroic Duel against most other Heroes and do some decent damage, and you have Epic Rage to really crank up the hits if needed. The point difference may even be enough to get an extra Company on the table (maybe drop the Fortune as well if needed). So if you go with a force from the Golden Wood try it out with both versions of Galadriel and see which fits your play style better and is more flexible against most foes (you will probably face a lot of Isengard) |

Hmm... I'm tempted to go with Mordor as none of the others can have cavalry. I was thinking giving the GK shields and then using Galadriel to enfeeble the enemy so they will probably need 6s to wound them but that was just an idea... |

they all look so good.....hmm............. the mordor would feel the best so i would take them as they could have a numbers advantage and the elves could be out flancked or held off by most elite troops, but i like the way you have chosen your armies |

i must say i love galadrhims. But i must say is the worst here(not abd but the other two are better) first is the mordor army with the dark marshal it has the most changes i believe. Then is rivendell high elves with elladan and elrohil=death army. |

Really? I thought the Mordor looked the most solid. It has the best magic as well. |
