You probably would have spotted the banner ad at the top of the page by now. We have been approached by Wayland Games to join their affiliate program whereby we advertise their webstore in return for a 5% commission for any sales that occur through people clicking on the banner. This is intended to safeguard the site and boost the competition prizes for next year's OR Awards, so please get help support the site by clicking on the link, and of course buying some Games Workshop models. I'd like to thank Richard and the team at Wayland for the support they have shown a lot of gaming sites over that past year or two as well. |

Looks like a sound website and company... I might try and purchase something should an opportunity arise Might I ask though, do OR members get any sort of discounts if purchasing from Wayland? |

Well theoretically you get a 5% discount witch is then transfered to your favorite lotr site. |

It did feel a little wrong, being there, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. From now on, buy all your minis from them. It helps you, them, and the site! Glad it wasn't a GW ad. |

I've been ordering from Wayland and have nothing but praise for them. Alan, the add expands the heading but the forums don't stretch to the same width, so white bands are left down the right hand side. |

Ah ok thanks. I don't see that on my screen so I wasn't aware of the problem. I'll fix it ASAP (might make the banner ad smaller too). |

What screen size do you have? Mine is 15" and I don't seem to have the problem |

13" screen and I have about 2 1/2" I can scroll on the scroll bar and just under 3" wide white band down the side. Note that it depends on the thread as some which have large pictures and the post space is stretched have no white band. |

I've got about a 15" Laptop screen and don't seem to be experiencing any problems either But anyway, looks great Alan! Now I can buy cheap miniatures at the same time as helping out one of my favourite websites! |

It sounds like it's based on the screen resolution rather than the physical size of the monitor. What resolution are you using Dave? My screens are all set to 1024 or 1268 pixels wide, so I am guessing yours is 800 x 600. |

I just tried the link and got Quote: We Could Not Connect To Your Database: waylandgames_co_uk_idevaffiliate
Check Your Database Settings In API/database.php Is there a problem with the link? Cheers |

I'm 1024 by 768 and get the top bar off screen the same as hithero. I did post a while back that the site wasn't sizing to my screen and I was getting a scroll bar. I've been tending to ignore this recently as many people didn't seem to have this problem. I'm using Firefox ver 3.0.14 but it seems no different switching to IE |

I'm on 1366 x 768 and dont have any of those issues. I tried in FF, IE and Chrome and works perfectly in any of them. Everything looks the same, other than the ad. :/ PS. I must say, the site seems to load a lot faster in Chrome! |

Tried all my screen resolutions and got the following OK displaying all site on 1280 x 1024 / 1280 x 900 / 1280 x 800 / 1280 x 768 / 1280 x 720 But drop below 1280 and fail to display all site on 1152 x 864 / 1024 x 768 / 800 x 600 Obviously some of the 1280 resolutions gave squashed text due to the screen ratio but it did display all of the top bar on the screen. Out of interest my lad got the same on his laptop 1024 x 768, again using Firefox but also not working using IE. Maccy what happens if you drop your resolution down ? |

Yup! Works great with 1280 wide or better. Anything bellow and it looks pants. |

Well, thanks for the diagnostics guys - that explains exactly the nature of the problem. Excellent! I am onto it now! |
