Post subject: | Helm Hammerhand Statue |
Heya, I'm returning to the hobby with a bunch of half finished miniatures and terrain, and one thing I need and do not have, is a statue of Helm Hammerhand for a Helm's Deep table. I'd be delighted if anyone here knew what it looks like, and maybe could find something suitable, or even 3d print one for me... I think that statue would be the cherry-on-top for a Helm's Deep table. So far I thought I would get an Osgiliath terrain plastic kit statue, and try to sculpt it a bit, so it looked the part, but I'm not confident I can pull that off. Ideas and help welcome. Thanks. PS: apparently some other people over the years have found some sort of ebay solution, but I can't see it anywhere. |

Check out my post in the Amazing Products thread. Mapper uses LoTR chess pieces and those collectible big figs that used to come with another magazine. He made me a beautiful terrain piece with one. |

I saw on Instagram some Helm Hammerhand statues, the poster said he got them from Eaglemoss, but I have not been able to find them, good luck |

Thanks for the help, but EUREKA, I found and ordered a playset statue from a UK store "Drum and Flag" which is perfect. Shipping cost as much as the item to Australia, but heck, a cherry on top is worth it. I've never been able to find anything like this before. One remaining here: https://www.drumandflag.co.uk/products/ ... -lotr-aome |

Eaglemoss were the "big figs" I was thinking of. That is a great find. I especially like that it includes a broken one. All the more incentive for the forces of evil to sack the place. |

I would bet that this topic will come up again. If someone here has any skills in casting items like this (I do not), even in plaster or something, I'm sure they would be quite the dashing hero should they pick up a set, cast it and share. |

Bad news. My awesome find was too large for the purpose. Still, the statues I got are not a bad terrain thing to use somewhere. The search continues for a Hammerhand statue which is about 2, but well less than 3 inches tall... |

This is the closest I could find for my build: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOTR-The-Roh ... 3651031878 Clocks in at 70mm, which is just under 3 inches. Still too large but a better fit scalewise than the AOME ones. Unfortunately, there's no broken one, either. |
