Storing a 2' by 2' game board can be a storage problem. It will fit under the bed or behind the couch. When you you have more than one you have to really start thinking about it.

If you make a nice playing surface you really do not want to stack things on top of it. A 2' by 2' won't fit on a self. But a 1' by 2' will.

If you want to make a gaming board and have space for it consider 1' by 2' and make two. The next set would be a 1' by 2' river section then you could have a 3' by 2' with a flexible river section. Flexible in the sense you could use it right, left or center.

I have been gaming 40 years I prefer a cloth. Storing accessories is easier than storing boards,
