Hey all. For the gaming board I'm planning on making I'll eventually need a range of battlefield and terrain pieces. Building them myself is always an option, but I just wanted to throw this out and see if anyone has any specific recommendations. So, if anyone has come across some well-priced and decently built barrels, crates, carts and wagons, etc post the details here! Thanks in advance |

I've had really good experiences with Thomarillion: http://www.thomarillion.de/index.php?se ... prache=gb_ I live in Canada, and the deliveries from Germany have been prompt and well packaged. |

Cheers Dorth, those Antenociti barrels and crates look fantastic. And Whafrog, thank you! The barricades are exactly what I needed! |

In addition to the great links that are already posted here, I would like to recomment Renedra too (scroll down): http://renedra.co.uk/webstore.html They got some cheap plastic barrels. They are made out of two pieces, so you might need to green stuff to make sure they fit well. They also have a nice selection of other useful stuff (fences, tents). Also, Warlord Games has a lot of terrain, mostly from other manufacturers too. Check it out here: http://www.warlordgames.com/store/catal ... op_type=93 In specifically, these might be interesting: http://www.warlordgames.com/store/ox-wagon.html http://www.warlordgames.com/store/anglo ... e-set.html http://www.warlordgames.com/store/woode ... -pack.html http://www.warlordgames.com/store/horse ... art-1.html And then, finally, Rusus has some great terrain too! http://www.rusus.de.vu/ (you can set it to English, button next to Homepage). In specifically, these might be useful: http://217.172.172.50/Rusus-p86h24s26-Sack.html http://217.172.172.50/Rusus-p197h43s54-Truhe.html http://217.172.172.50/Rusus-p70h24s26-Wooden-box.html http://217.172.172.50/Rusus-p69h24s26-Barrels.html Good luck, hope it's of some use! |

Wow, plenty to choose from there Feanor, thanks a lot! As it turns out I actually picked up some of the Renedra barrels today before I posted this I'll see how they turn out later in the evening. The Warlord horse drawn cart is a perfect match for what I inititially had in mind (I should explain, the reason I'm searching for these items is for a Battle of Bywater gaming board). With that and other pieces I can create the Hobbit barricade to my specifications. Though I'm still keen on the one in Whafrog's link. Could always have a couple of different types to switch in and out. |

Forgot to mention, I've really like the terrain the Battlefield in a Box products from Gale Force Nine: http://www.gf9.com/ http://www.flamesofwar.com/gf9online_st ... ryID=13170 The rivers are a bit narrow so I've had to house rule their jumpability, etc, but I really like the modular nature. |

I have the Renedra barrels they will need some sanding/putty to fill in the gaps. But on the whole they look really nice. I sanded the sides so I could glue several together to form a line of barrels. Use plastic glue and they will hold together well. |
