Does anyone have a copy of second edition for sale? Also, looking to get into historical battles and was wondering if y'all had opinions on Mortal Gods vs Warhammer Historical vs Saga vs Hail Caesar for rules. Cheers, Daniel |

Hail Caesar is quite rules intensive for my liking and deals with mass combats--you need a lot of minis for most of the scenarios. The biblical era supplement deals with using the original rules for skirmishes. I haven't tried it out yet. Warlord Games often puts the Hail Caesar core book up for sale or even free PDF, so subscribe to their email if you'd like those deals. |

Biggest difference: Hail Ceasar - large scale battles Saga - skirmish, small scale battles Both rulesets have their followers, depends on how many figures you want to use and scale of battles you are interested in |
