Amazing work, but either the shipmaker is Evil or he is of seriously poor taste, great name. |

Thanks guys. The name of the ship has caused a bit of controversy. However, I beg everyone to remember that the end of the Third Age, when this story takes place, is over 5,000 years later than when dragon Glaurung actually lived. I doubt there are any in Gondor that actually believe he existed. It is similar to the British naming a Ship-of-the-Line Manticore or Chimera. |

Okay, I assumed you probably had a good explanation, just wanted to know what, it is after all, an awesome name. ![]() |

Thinking on the Argonauts front...maybe your adventurers could come across some of these on their quest as a sort of homage? http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/our-ranges/greek-mythology/monsters/ ![]() |

It turns out, while all of Dol Amroth was celebrating the arrival of Prince Altherion, another hero joined the crew of the Glaurung - Peldroc the Hunter. ![]() Read all about his tough life, and why he looks just a bit 'orcy' on my blog: http://therenaissancetroll.blogspot.co. ... urung.html |

Rymond the Breelander becomes the last of the heroes to join the crew of the Glaurung. A bit of a conversion - something I'm not very good at. ![]() ![]() ![]() You can read all about Rymond on my blog: http://therenaissancetroll.blogspot.co. ... urung.html |

You say you're not good at converting but Ry is a nice characterful piece and a worthy addition to the crew. |
