Excellent podcast! I love that the video is an instructional that is straight to the point and organized by topic very logically. This is a great direction for the Green Dragon in my opinion.

The only thing I wanted to mention was about the advice of the stats on Fatty Bolger. You seemed to celebrate this model's stats but this is actually where he is every overcosted in my opinion. His stats are weaker than a Shirriffs but yet he costs more than them. I do agree that he is an excellent one drop hero (which I argue is his only use), but despite the one point of fate, I would rather take a Sherriff, especially since not only are they better fighters, they have staffs as well for weapon rules bonuses.

Hi legion,

Glad you liked the format. The Fatty Bolger episode was done as a dare- I basically got told that I would not be able to make a whole episode on him. I do not usually do the Know Thine Enemy segments as I am more interested in scenarios but I tried to keep this episode light hearted and silly. My humour is largely sarcastic, and probably doesn't come across in an audio medium.

Tactically you are totally correct- Fatty is a good warband drop and not much else. He may be overcosted slightly, but in a hobbit army it is hardly noticeable. I usually take him if I run out of other hobbits. Sherriffs and Militia always get the nod first.

Thanks for your feedback,
~Jeremy
