Post subject: "To Wound" Table Formula

Does anyone know the math formula to calculate the minimum "to wound" roll? Mnemonic rule is easy but i am curious if anyone had figured that out.

There's really no formula it's a simple step process. Attacker's Strength is equal to or one greater than opponents defense you need a 4+ Attacker's Strength is 1 or 2 less than opponent's defense you need a 5+ Attacker's Strength is 3 or 4 less than opponent's defense you need a 6+ Anything below the first one I mentioned requires a 3+ Anything above the third one requires an additional 4+, 5+, 6+ or cannot wound in that order
