Ok so basically this topic is exactly what it says in the title, if you had to make an alternate fellowship, who would you put in it? Restrictions: Total cost is up to 750pts You need a ringbearer You can have good saruman but that means that radagast will be leading armies of giant spiders, orcs, bats and wargs in the two towers scenarios. You cannot give anyone any elf cloaks, horses or unique weapons Isildor can be ringbearer but you must have 2nd age people accompanying him Bilbo counts as a dwarf hero for the purposes of KG/Shieldbearers Also, just for fun, next to certain characters note who takes the role of sam (accompanies the ringbearer) who gets kidnapped by uruks and who replaces boromir (dies at the end of FoTr) Here is mine: Bilbo Radagast Farmer maggot (replaces sam) Legolas Celeborn with armour, shield and elf blade (gets kidnapped by uruks) Theodred (replaces boromir) Madril 8 guards of the Galadhrim court I guess the plot benefits of this fellowship would be that the witch king would suck at pelennor cos of radagasts pony spell, there would be no problem convincing faramir to help bilbo (his best buddy madril is with the fellowship) Celeborn would have an easier time persuading the trees to help than merry and pippin did. The scenario i think would be most fun to play with this fellowship would be farmer maggot vs shelob, it would be hilarious to watch a bunch of dogs fight a giant spider. Anyway, who would YOU choose? |

What's wrong with the original Fellowship? The main change I'd make, however, would be to include Glorfindel. Having a High Elf Lord would really help. |
