Hi!Does anyone know if a high elf with bow can take anything else such as elven blade or elven spear?Galadhrim may only exchange their elven blade with elven bow or spear http://www.scribd.com/doc/38485437/m112 ... dhrim-Host while wood elves may take whatever they want.So what about high elves? |

High elves have the greatest flexibility. Their profile is in the One Ring book. Basically you can take any equipment combo you like...or take nothing and they still have a hand weapon. |

Yes but dagger means -1 on the roll to win the fight. In the rulebook it says you can have an elf with armour, elf bow and elven blade while this is a galadhrim warrior with an elven blade and bow but galadhrim may only have one of these:elf bow, spear, elven blade. |

Nope, dagger counts as a regular hand weapon now. |

Quote: In the rulebook it says you can have an elf with armour, elf bow and elven blade while this is a galadhrim warrior with an elven blade and bow but galadhrim may only have one of these:elf bow, spear, elven blade. Just because they have the same equipment doesn't mean they are the same model (although it's a little confusing). As whafrog said, High Elves just have enormous flexibility. So yes, you can give them the exact same weapons as a Galadhrim warrior, but because they aren't actually Galadhrim the special rules about swapping the Elven blade for a spear, etc. don't apply. It's very open ended, but that's because the High Elves have never really gotten an update (other than a few heroes in the Fall of the Necromancer) or a sourcebook of their own. The Galadhrim are more restricted because they have been recently updated... but the upside is that, even if slightly more restricted on their weapons choices, the Galadhrim have a thematic army list and more variety to choose from than the basic High Elf warrior from the main rulebook. |

Based on both these comments I'm thinking you're using an old rulebook. High elves can have everything a Galadhrim has, plus the option of heavy armour. |

So dagger does not mean -1 on the roll to fight........hm....... So high elves (or wood elves) than appear to have a bow can take spear or elven blade? And if they not they fight exactly as if they were having an elven blade except than they can't use it as a 2-handed weapon right? |

Basically you can take an armour normal or heavy, if you want elven cloak, and bow or spear or elven blade or one of them with a shield... |
