Hello I have just started collecting wotr and currently have 24 morrannon orcs and a mordor troll. I am getting some more orcs but i was wondering what hero/character I should get to lead them. Another thing, is there a trading section on this forum as i cant seem to see one? Thanks LOgan |

As a minor hero, nothing wrong with Grishnakh or Gorbag. A shaman to keep the army together, and a wraith to disable heroes and lower courage are also good additions. If you don't have bows, a drummer is a good idea to get into melee more quickly. Is there a particular flavour you were going for? |

Link for trading post... You should be able to find some Mordor troops or heroes among the different lists. viewforum.php?f=38 |

Thanks Jebbo I like the idea of the drummer can you tell me basically how he works? Also as for the flavour i quite like the idea of lots of orcs (avoiding bows) and maybe some mordor uruk hai ( is that what you meant by flavour?) I quite like the idea of having gorbag to lead the orcs and shagrat for the uruk hai. |

You should probably get the Mordor sourcebook, it has the rules for the drummer and many more. Basically he increases movement of orcs, warg riders, etc. Shagrat also comes in two flavours: solid captain, and uber hero. You'll still want a wraith, or some other way to help neutralize Good heroes. |

But isnt the mordor sourcebook for the strategy game not war of the ring? And i see you cant use money in the trading forum I dont have any other lotr models so I will not be able to use it :/ |

Yes, it is, but I do think (but I'm not sure) that it has the same function in wotr |

No hero has Inspiring Hero (Orcs) so you'll need one that has master if thats what your getting at. The Dark Marshall would fit the bill. Add a taskmaster in his formation to up his courage to share. |

Sorry, I missed the wotr part. I don't play it myself, so I probably steered you in the wrong direction. |

I missed that bit to, you don't normally associate a box of figures and a troll with a WOTR game - not even doable is it? So you are forgiven |

For WotR, Gothmog would be a good choice. |
