Yeh, the classifcation on their website is a bit wierd. I am pretty sure they do count towards your bow limit. |

That's right. It cannot use any other kind of weapon. Even if a bow equipped model picks up the banner, it loses the bow when it does. Banner Bearers fight as if they were carrying a two-handed weapon (but unfortunately without the wounding bonus). |

But I think what is said here is that he counts towards the denominator when calculating percentage of ranged weapons. |

It shouldn't count, as a Banner equipped model can't have any other kind of weapon. So he can't have a bow to count toward the limit. |

That wasn't the question  The question was whether you count the banner model when calculating the bow limit, as opposed to heroes who are not counted.
