So, I'm starting out playing War of the Ring and I'm going to do elves...
can I get some input/advice as to what to include in my army?

My friend and I are planning a major 2000 point battle in a years time, but we're going to build up to it with some smaller battles first. So far all I've bought is a box of Galadhrim warriors (and paint of course~)

Eerhm.. perhaps an ent or two, some captains, heroes, knights and more warriors ;)

That will be like;
* 2 Ents
* 1 or 2 blisters Elf captains + banner bearer's
* Galadriel, Haldir, Rumil, Celeborn (not all.. but choose)
* Gaurds of the Galadhrim court
* 2 or 3 boxes G. warriors
* 1 or 2 boxes G. Knights.

So.. prepare to spend huge money!

Yeah, I was planning on getting at least Celeborn because of his special rule with the Galadhrim

Should I get Legolas and put him with some Galadhrim Knights or stick him with some archers?

Oops, forget about my first post, as it was only about Galahdrim.
If you want to have more elves, try some unarmoured wood elves.

Thats alright, I was going to go for a mainly Galadhrim-oriented force anyways (well that was my thinking) because from what I've been rerading etc, they seem to be just that bit better especially combined with Celeborn.

Also, Council of Wizardry: yea or nay?

A lot of points, but I didn't use them in a game.
Play test with them, using some replica miniatures.
If you like it, buy it ;)
