Because, as it explains on the site, they have to buy the models direct from GW. That means, as a customer, not a retailer, meaning they don't get a trade discount.

It states that the Direct Only option won't be for everyone, as they include a mark-up on the models, but people have asked them to provide the service, hence them doing it.

You might have noticed, however, that some of the sets are CHEAPER than GW's:

£47.00

They lose £13 on that - in other words, they're hoping more people buy small than large sets.

Funny that, being that they are an online discount retailer...

How exactly do you figure that one out? If they really wanted people to buy small, then they would either charge the GW RRP on large sets, or not stock them.

And they wouldn't be offering £8 RRP blisters for just over £6 either would they?

Online stores sell at a discounted price. They can do this because they get them directly from GW with a trader's discount. That is why they sell it at a discounted price, whilst still getting a reasonable profit.

These new figurines are Direct only. They are charged with the full price, so no discount. that is why they go up in price.

Is it REALLY that hard to understand, Ingold? or are you just pretending?
