Well, that killed that little experiment. I went to finish the intro quest and my machine locked up on me. Rebooting and doing it again resulted in the same thing - the machine hangs and I can't do anything.

Ho hum, as if I actually had the time to do this anyway.

I got a new laptop a few months ago, re-downloaded the game, continued a bit with Fraigo, and then even created a dwarf character named Skarvalag, or something along the likes of that. And honestly, for a free PC game, LotRO is fun and great. But even though there was no lag or problems with the game, I still found myself not playing it; I think its just not that addictive to me, and I'd rather be playing games on my Xbox 360. I guess I was so obsessed for the game to work, I was focusing heavily on the good qualities of it, and was comparing it to my poor experiences with other LotR video games. But when push comes to shove, I'd much rather play something else.
