I'm currently working on a batch of metal Eldar figures that date back to around the start of my mini collecting days, namely 1999. Both were in a dreadful condition appearance wise but are apparantly unscathed. The Warlock has been highlighted and then given washes however it is still in a pretty miserable condition. The spear, gun and pouches all need seeing too. Lord Baharoth is looking a little better now. I've gone for blue and green rather than blue and white for the wings. The sword, center armour, feather and gun are still unfinished and I'm not sure about doing freehand work. If anyone has any suggestions to improve these two I would really appreciate it as I'm lacking inspiration - 40k isn't really my thing. |

Both great models, although my favorite part is the spearhead off the first mini... keep it up |

I love the blue shade you used on the second mini! Keep it up! |

How to improve them... well, I think a good start would be to put on a few layers of highlighting above the the 'wash coat' (especially on the first mini) as I find that a lot of people who give their minis a wash and leave it at that end up with shiny minis. It would obviously also add more depth. That's all really, keep it up. |

Thanks for the comments guys @Darkwind - agreed, I do need to highlight the Warlock as the last thing I did to him was wash him in dark green Because the paint is so thick on this model, it's difficult distinguishing where the cloak folds stop and start. I've made some more progress on the winged hero, although I'm still struggling to decide what colour his armour should be. To clarify the small black thing below his head is the armour. The GW version is gold however I not sure whether silver would look more classy. Which ever colour the armour will be, the rest of the little details such as on the gun and sword will match, could do with a vote really |

I think silver would look really nice, Jack. It would complement the blue very well in my opinion. |

Somehow I feel like a NMM copper/bronze'ish metal could yield some nice results if done correctly, but otherwise I'd go with gold |

Cool models, the winged dude looks great! Though I agree with DarkWind in the need for more highlights on the first guy. |
