Terrible! I mean... for a LOTR-figure... :P

Painting looks great Viruk, but mind if I remind you there's non-LOTR talent showcase on the forum which is meant for figures such as these...

Thanks for the comment :) I am aware of that - that's why I kindly asked the moderators to move the thread to the relevant section a few posts earlier ;) But I guess I should have addressed a ringwraith directly so if you would be kind enough to do that... :)

Well.. I'm not a mod or something like that and I wouldn't make you angry (:P) but it's LotR's section.
For your non-LotR miniatures you should creat a topic right here (click).

Anyway, good minis. Keep going.

There are moments in my life when I'm lost for words. In such situations I prefer images.
Please, next person/mod/anyone who wishes to make a comment about non-lotr section of the forum, do read posts in this thread.

Haha, Viruk.

I think their trying to say to just make a seperate thread for Non-LOTR works in the Non-LOTR section because the majority of this thread is made up of mostly LOTR work.

Not too familiar with Warmachine, but you painting is fantastic as always :)

Yeah.. I thought so.. Unnecessary wrath for my good intention.

So here you have your 'image'. You're better in English and you can't understand such easy things as sections. Look at tidoco, GildorPl or other users - they could understand that and everything is OK.

Haldir_Strikes; that's what we are trying to say, thanks.

Wrath? Dude, you need to chill out. Go for a walk, take a deep breath, whatever. Perhaps your lack of linguistic skills has not enabled you to perceive it as a rather harmless example of irony. Definitely you should try to vent your frustrations somewhere else, this one's a rather use-friendly website so there's no need for flaming here.

loool, now you've reached the new low, congrats (pun intended). Have a look at this thread one more time. I dunno, maybe put glasses on. I've asked explicitly to have this thread moved to a relevant section more than once.

Now last but not least, I'd appreciate it if you kept to English, it's an international forum after all.

OK, sorry for a digression. Back to the topic, I'm currently working on thismini (pic from online catalogue). Very cool sculpt imho, classic western look with a pinch of... bones
:-D

Okay... That's a little weird looking if you ask me. Of course, I think a lot of things are weird(myself included :) ). I'm glad you think it's cool, and I hope you have a great time painting it.

That's actually a very good point - WARMACHINE minis are definitely 'weird', i totally agree with that. In general, Privateer Press (the company that produce them) has a slightly different approach to sculpting, the models are often exaggerated or their physique is unusual. Especially the 'jacks (the big ones) with their heads placed in the middle of their chest. This may be explained by the fact that they are controlled by warcasters, in a way they are just "shells".

Thanks for all the comments :)

Yeah, hairs are great! His skull-head is also nice.
For me he isn't too dark. However, this dirt effect could be better made and his scarf ask for a final highlight ;p
