Hey!
I was wondering what you might think of this army list for Isengard I'm building.

1st Warband (worth 190 points)
--
Lurtz (Also the force's general)
2x Uruk-Hai Berserker
5x Uruk-Hai Warriors w/ Pike
5x Uruk-Hai Warriors w/ Shield

2nd Warband (worth 190 points)
--
Ugluk
2x Uruk-Hai Berserker
5x Uruk-Hai Warriors w/ Pike
5x Uruk-Hai Warriors w/ Shield

3rd Warband (worth 136 points)
--
Mauhur
4x Uruk-Hai Scouts
4x Uruk-Hai Scouts w/ Shield
All scouts upgraded to Marauders

4th Warband (worth 184 points)
--
Vrasku
4x Uruk-Hai Scouts w/ Bow
8x Uruk-Hai Warriors w/ Crossbow

Total point cost = exactly 700
Model Count = 48 (Breaks at 23)

Things I might want to add:
Wargs (I have no cavalary at all)
Magic (No Saruman or Shaman)

From my experience ugluk and Lurtz are pretty poor you can use 2 captains with shields and armour to give them defence7 making them much stronger than Lurtz and ugluk, versaku is good if you have a lot of urakia cross bows in the force but having two shots a turn is pretty useless otherwise so you could remove him to maybe input a shaman to give the force some magical aspect. Finally I would from my experience put all of the beserkers in one warband to really pack a punch and make them lead the attack, if you separate them it is easier for opponents to pick them off one by one.
Hope you found this helpful.

Ugluk's courage rule is pretty good, especially with a courage 3 force. The problem is not letting him die before you break. And yes, I agree, Lurtz is absolute garbage.

From my experience, I would recommend taking a generic Uruk-Hai Captain with heavy armour and a shield, instead of Ugluk, as his special rule never seems to be worth the points (for me anyways). For the same points, I've found the high defense of a generic captain to be the better deal. For magic, as I've learned both through trial and error, as well as being told by more experienced players, multiple times, a shaman is a must. I'd highly recommend one, because channeled fury, making your uruk-hai fearless, as well as giving them a chance to avoid death on a 5 or 6 makes the whole army even harder to defeat. Saruman, preferably mounted, is also a good option, as his ability to stay behind the battle line, while running back and forth, casting transfix (immobilize) so easily really can put a damper on your opponent's best heroes, if not, stop them altogether. This allows you to use his will store to throw in some of his other spells from time to time as well. As for the wargs, they are always a good option to have, maybe 4 - 6 of them, preferably with a mounted hero though, to keep up with them. I've always been taught to keep them behind, until the opponent is occupied in combats, then have them in a position to constantly threaten to swing around on the flank and cause trouble for the supporting units. However, you'd have to sacrifice something on the list to add them, probably Mauhur's warband. Also, I've found that in any list above 500 points, an Isengard troll accompanying one of your combat heroes is never a bad idea. Yes, they are expensive, but if you keep it close to a hero, to stop it from being overwhelmed, they can cause incredible damage, especially with brutual power attacks, like hurl. They are capable of immobilizing an entire warband by themselves. Hope this helps!
