 Post subject: 500 Points Rivendell Knights

Been figuring out a Rivendell Knight force at 500 points.
Just wanna ask how viable it is.
Warband 1 7/12
Rivendell Knight Captain with Shield;
6 Knight of Rivendell with Shield;
1 Knight of Rivendell with Shield; Banner;
----
Warband 2 6/12
Rivendell Knight Captain with Shield;
6 Knight of Rivendell with Shield;
----

I was thinking about Elrond and Lindir first, but atleast Elrond is very expensive at 500 points they are more half the points together

So my question is. Does it work with 2 Captains?
Seems a little low on Might and the extra punch High elves are used to with mighty heroes.

Would like some thoughts from folks that have used them!

List sounds good.

You bet for regular captains to fill up alot more knights, seems important to have a solid bulk of knights anyway.
Although Elrond nature´s wrath can be a key turning point when well played.

You could try to add lindir instead of a captain, hes a bit cheaper but worst fighter, although have a bit more will.
Interesting thing on him is that without elrond lindir can keep up your models within range with some resistant to magic, can be quite usefull as your captain being your force "combat monster" likely gonna be targetted by spells.


But try to make a test play, i like the list so far...

Thank you for your ideas!

With Lindir I can take 1 more knight if I drop shields on 3 of them, dont know if its worth it tho...

I like the Idea of resistant to magic but only 3 might in total at 500 points seems kinda low.

Yes Lindir can be interesting but also tricky getting you only for 3 might wont give you much help.

Although I mostly see you´re gonna use that Lindir might for heroic move, meanwhile the captain prob gonna use 1 might for heroic move and the other for heroic strike, but that should be it....
