I wrote up a hobbit army with like two options. Hobbits we know are massed weak troops but more importantly what do I add?

One has an extra 180-190 points or I can take out a warband and have 250-260 points left.

I want it competitive. Thought about Beorn, Strider, Wood Elves, etc.

Whats the perfect fill in? Not worried too much about theme.

Gandalf the grey on chart, in the 190pt should be a good and thematic option!

arnor or the wanderers in the wild are the best ones imo. getting the bowmen in arnor is good with there spears to support the hobbits carrying them to a fight of 4 in fights where they are needed. and with the wanderers of the wild you are allowing your self to get monsters something that hobbits do need.

Gandalf the Grey could be useful for channeled blinding light and some cheeky immobilises, he helps keep your hobbits safe from shooting and from heroes while also being quite a fluffy choice

Malbeth, Alfred and Cirdan?
Fury, might, and blinding light + terror.

Battling Brandybucks with axes, supported by Guards of the Galhadrim Court, if you don't mind losing friends...

Hahaha if I'm playing people who are not my friends I guess I could. Unfortunately I don't have those models or wish to convert new ones haha. Good call though.

I am in the same spot. Honestly thinking of going for gandalf on cart. I suspect just gandalf mounted would be better but I dont have the model and having him be harder to dismount seems reasonable.

Blinding light to protect the hobbit archers seems awfully good, while also being able to lock down the biggest threat from chopping up the poor little hobbits with immobilize.
