Post subject: Lorien/mirkwood Elves 750pts

As regard of the campaign we were doing the elves are striking against Dol Guldur to save some dwarven captives (like lotro style thing)
We are a bunch of players playing this campaign and to keep balanced cause every 1 like elves or Dol guldur we normaly switch armies (we trade spots bettewn good or evil - unless the major important scenarios where we need the actually players to play their original army wise).
As game/story purposes (cause they are too busy elsewhere questing or managing the war effordand cannot involve or is worst case dead) we cannot field:
good side: - galadriel - Celeborn - Haldir
Evil: - All named Nazguls except khamul - Sauron (any form)
Exception is that: - models army upgrades are availiable to use like Celeborn upgrade to the elves or the Necromancer upgrade.
Giving a try
1st mission its going to be desembarcation from anduin to mirkwood and only 2 named heroes is allowed (they cannot cost over 100pts however)
Day time: Night - night attack
attacker: Lorien
defender Dol Guldur
Mirkwood can be used but no named characters allowed over 100pts Mirkwood elves can only be made of 30% of the Army total force. Mirkwood elves will arrive from the north side of the board edge near the river shore from turn 4 onwards on a roll of a 4+ and can only be deployed on a 20" wide deployment area. Each elven boat will have 1 warband inside, - boats have defence 8 and 3 wounds. - They move 8" a turn - models on top of it count has haven´t moved on the movement phase. - at least 4 models need to be inside the boat to keep it moving. - if only 2 of the models are on the boat, the boat move half the movement phase. - models inside boats that cannot move can elect to jump off the boat and swim as normal.
scenario rules: Darkness from Dol Guldur: before the turn begins if both players roll a tie up roll the darkness coming from the hill of Sorcery manifests wildly on the nature and dark clouds loom over the land, bringing darkness and sorrow clowding the rays of the moon momentarely. During that turn, there can´t be no shooting phase and all models on the field are counted as wearing elven cloaks for spotting/view distance purposes.
Thinking on mission 1 im trying this.
Warband 1 Rúmil with elven cloak 8 guards of the galadhrim court
Warband 2 Galadrim Captain with shield and elven blade 8 Galadhrim warriors with shield 4 Galadhrim warriors with elven bow
Warband 3 Galadhrim Stormcaller 8 Galadhrim warriors with shield 4 Galadhrim warriors with elven bow
Warband 4 Tauriel 9 mirkwood rangers
total: 750

Drop the blade of of the captain and get 5 spears for the Galadhrim with shields. You will need the extra support, and hopefully that will free up some of the Guard to double up where you need them to.
I love the idea you have here! Boat raids and such are always a lot of fun.
